TheForce.net  has two previews for The Dark Times. The sole piece for the Old Republic, the (1) Jedi Watchman, and a classic bounty hunter, (39) Zuckuss, Bounty Hunter. I'm glad we got another look at Zuckuss, since I found a cost error in my spoiler - fixed now.

Star Wars . com has a couple more previews for The Dark Times. We saw the Gungan bounty hunter a while back, and while we've known his stats for a while, this is the first official look at (4) A'Sharad Hett, the man who would become Darth Krayt.

Just a quickie update. I changed the map list to reflect the new DCI  floor rules update. Maps are now listed as (O)pen, (S)tandard, and/or (R)estricted per the new guidelines. Though General Obi-Wan Kenobi has been unbanned from tourney play, I haven't updated the Republic  list yet since we'll have the The Dark Times update in a few days.

The DCI  has updated the floor rules for Star Wars  Miniatures (they go into effect on the 26th of this month). There are some significant changes:

 – Point structure and map lists have changed; now there are Open, Standard, and Restricted map lists

 – General Obi-Wan Kenobi has ben UNbanned.

 – and more (make sure to read Appendix A).

Mandalorien over at Khryssun has 3 stat card confirmations for The Dark Times for us today. Those three are (11) Dass Jennir, (18) Imperial Engineer, and (38) T'surr.

I got my set poster for The Dark Times today. I've scanned pics of the minis for which we had no official pic (e.g., most of them).

A rarity in our little world – The Holocron has posted an interview with Peter Lee, the lead designer for the Star Wars  Miniatures line.  The Dark Times, coming out next week, is the first set he's had a major hand in, so check out some of his thoughts right here.

The Holocron brings us round two of their previews for The Dark Times. They are (7) K'Kruhk, Jedi Master, (16) Emperor's Hand, (32) Rodian Raider, and (33) Talz Chieftain.

I've been meaning to put miniatures galleries on each set page for some time, but wanted them to be consistent, which meant resizing a lot of pictures. Grrrr. In any case, all sets except for Galaxy at War now have galleries. For GaW, I'm waiting for WotC  to put up some pics better than the ones pulled from the set poster. There are still some huges, and a few oddballs, that aren't sized correctly, but I'm going to have to whip out the camera to fix that. I'll get there at some point. Really. In the meantime, go to the miniatures sets section and take a look.
