Round three of Galaxy at War previews is up at WotC. This time its Separatist droid officers with (3) Battle Droid Sergeant and (8) Commando Droid Captain.

I got another pair of old repaint promos for my collection.  The two that have been added are Dark Side Adept and Human Mercenary. They've been photographed and included in the promo repaint/original comparison PDF.

Star Wars . com has a batch of Galaxy at War previews up today. We already knew the new Rex's stats, and the clone sergeant is a resculpt from days of yore, but we did get two completely new ones: (17) ARF Trooper and (22) Clone Trooper with Night Vision.

Round two of Galaxy at War previews is up at WotC. More commanders this time, with (1) Asajj Ventress, Strike Leader for the Separatists, and (36) Hondo Ohnaka for the Fringe.

Update 9-20: Made a tweak to how affinity minis' era icons are done. If an affinity mini has no icons, or only standard black-on-white icons, use the usual era/faction building method. However if it has white-on-grey icons, use those when its included in its affinity faction(s).

9-14: I've added minis with faction Affinity to each faction list. This only includes minis that are self-included, not dependent on another mini's presence. For example, Mas Amedda is included on the Imperial  list since he has Imperial Affinity in his special abilities; on the other hand, Princess Leia is not included on the New Republic  list, since she can only be included in NR squads if  Jacen Solo is in the squad. Any Affinity-included minis are appended to the end of each list. Below are the minis that are now included with their Affinity factions:

  – Old Republic: Antarian Ranger, Youngling

  – Republic: Master Kota

  – Rebel: Garm Bel Iblis, Kazdan Paratus, Shaak Ti, Jedi Master

  – Imperial: Mas Amedda

  – New Republic: Antarian Ranger, General Dodonna, Jagged Fel, Yuuzhan Vong Ossus Guardian

A couple updates:

 – Added Atlanta Star Wars Gamers  and SWM Rules Advisors Committee to Community.

 – Added an alternate version of the Fringe  faction PDF, all by species. No organizations or planetary groupings in this one, though humans are still placed first as the most common.

Some days you get a pleasant surprise. In sharp contrast to the historical pattern, WotC  has posted the full Galaxy at War set checklist and rules summary on the GaW product page. w00+!

WotC  has started rolling out Galaxy at War previews. GaW is a Clone Wars set, and the first official previews are Republic Jedi commanders: (24) Commander Ahsoka and (32) Obi-Wan Kenobi, Jedi General.

As usual, we have an early seller on of Galaxy at War E-bay. Naughty naughty. But we'll take our info where we can get it. We have pics of nearly the whole set this time around.
