If you hadn't noticed, the IDC  has been running a scavenger hunt for the last few weeks, giving out clues for readers to piece together. It's done now, and the winner is Jon Clement. The lucky guy gets to see some previews from the set following Battle of Hoth.

I'm a little behind, and the IDC  has put out two Battle of Hoth previews in recent days. Neither is directly involved in the battle on the ice planet, but are good fun nonetheless.

The previous Battle of Hoth preview was about the Rebels getting the heck out of Dodge. The latest preview is about the reason why. When the Empire really wants you gone, they have the man- and machinepower to do it.

A couple updates:

 – Added Minis Mayham  podcast to Community.

 – Updated the minis glossary. Just correcting numerous niggling typos. There aren't any official changes, but I found that Anticipation had the text from Ambush for some reason. Oops!

This week the Alliance prepares to abandon Echo base, with the next Battle of Hoth preview on the IDC  site. Sure, the rank insignia makes me think of Purina pet foods, but authority is authority.

Map Pack 3: The Crystal Caves of Ilum is out, so some updated material:

  – TCWMP set spoiler is updated with the final two maps (we already had the minis, so no faction updates).

  – The map list is updated with the two new 'uns – Crystal Caves of Ilum and Coruscant Streets. Both are pretty nice.

Needed to make some minor changes to some faction lists:

  – Sith: added the Rise of the Empire era now that we have a number of minis (also updated the Eras, Faction and Side report with the same).

  – Republic: added notation that General Obi-Wan Kenobi (TCW) is banned from all tourneys.

  – Imperial: added the Elite AT-AT Driver (IE).

  – Fringe: added notation that Boba Fett, Bounty Hunter (BH) is banned from Dynamic Duo tourneys.

From GenCon, we have a nice pair of preview cards (though no pics of the actual minis, bummer). Anyway, thank WotC  forum member "leshippy" for the pic.
