The IDC  has put up a new promotional poster for the Battle of Hoth expansion. The Imperials are coming, it's time to get the heck out of Dodge!

WotC  finally got around to putting up the rulebook from The Clone Wars starter set. You know, only a year late. I understand waiting a few months, so they can actually sell some :) but a year is a bit much. Anyway, it's now been added to the set's page on site.

A couple updates:

 – Added Star Wars Miniverse podcast to Community.

 – Updated the map list to adhere to the new DCI  floor rules update. Rattatak Arena and Teth Monastery have been added to 100/150/200 point tourney play. Christophsis has been removed from 100/150/200 point play.

The DCI  has updated the floor rules for Star Wars  Miniatures. There are quite a few changes:

 – Map lists are changed

 – Dynamic Duo format added (with a couple mini restrictions)

 – General Obi-Wan Kenobi banned across the board

 – 181st Imperial Pilot is also usable as Elite AT-AT Pilot with the cards downloadable from WotC. Seems like a can o' worms to me.

Well, dang it! I completely forgot to integrate the recent errata from WotC  into today's update.  If you downloaded any of the affected docs before this update, you should do it again. Anyway, what changed:

  – Minis Glossary (abilities/powers changed: Black Sun, Crack Gunner, Hand of the Emperor, Lightsaber Reflect, Soresu Style Mastery)

  – Darth Sidious, Sith Master (JA, Sith): commander effect reworded.

  – Luminara Unduli, Jedi Master (TCWMP, Republic): Synergy ability reworded.

  – Emperor Palpatine on Throne and Thrawn (Mitth'raw'nuruodo) (IE, Imperial): commander effects reworded.

  – Yoda (CS, Republic), Luke Skywalker and Yoda (TFU, Rebel) and Darth Vader, Legacy of the Force (IE, Imperial): these all still work the same, but because of the wording change to Lightsaber Reflect, it changed my notation for them.

Jedi Academy is out, and all updates are complete:

  – Old Republic, Sith, Republic, Imperial, New Republic, Yuuzhan Vong, and Fringe  faction lists are updated.

  – Minis glossary, minis distribution, and the checklists are updated. (Miscellany)

  – The JA set spoiler is complete.

I didn't really expect any more previews for Jedi Academy, but we get one anyway, small though it may be. It's the (18) Youngling, just in case you want to reenact Anakin's fall I guess.

The IDC  has announced the name of their sixth expansion for the Star Wars  Trading Card Game – Battle of Hoth. Yep, we're returning to the land of the wampas from The Empire Strikes Back.

We're within days of the release of Jedi Academy now, but WotC  still has previews for us. New ones this week are (15) Heavy Clone Trooper and (20) Disciple of Ragnos.

I was expecting an Old Republic  or Republic preview for Jedi Academy, but we get more Vong. It's the (39) Praetorite Vong Warrior to accompany the priest from last week.
