More WotC  Jedi Academy previews, though in the D&D section, I'm sure to cross-promote. This is great, but why nothing on the actual Star Wars site? Oi. Anyway, this time we get (12) Antarian Ranger and (22) Reborn.

With the release of Invasion of Naboo, the IDC  gave us a little surprise (though I'm sure some weren't happy with it. Aw, c'mon!). Anyway, that surprise was a Jar Jar Binks (D) promo. You have to hunt it down yourself. In the meantime, that means some updates to a couple promo reports:

  – The combined WotC+IDC  Promo vs. Standard Comparison recognition guide.

Another Tuesday, another WotC  Jedi Academy preview. This time it the Sith's turn, with (6) Darth Plagueis. Interesting choice given how little we know of him.

The IDC has restricted Death Star II (D) for tournament play. (Banned and Restricted Cards)

The 180-card Invasion of Naboo set from the IDC  has arrived at last. Episode I didn't get its due from WotC  before the game got cancelled, but this set certainly rectifies that as far as the battle is concerned. I know a lot of people don't like the gungans, but don't hold Jar Jar against an entire species! :)  The gungans were brave, and went into a battle where they had every chance of getting slaughtered. Give 'em some credit!

More attention for the Old Republic in this new Jedi Academy preview from Robot Viking. A venerable Jedi Master and fan favorite – (4) Vodo-Siosk Baas.

Yes, the title is correct, Leia Skywalker. TCGPlayer.com brings us a new Jedi Academy preview – (30) Leia Skywalker, Jedi Knight. Oh my!

Another Jedi Academy preview on the WotC  site – (1) Jedi Battlemaster. I think one could be forgiven for thinking it an elf, it it weren't for the lightsaber :)

Five Jedi Academy previews have been posted on Robot Viking. Well, we unofficially knew stats for two of them, but it's always nice to get the real deal. Five figures and four factions, and they all have cards too.

The battle for Theed Palace continues this week with the lastest Invasion of Naboo preview on the IDC  site. This time around it's a man who's uniform just doesn't get enough props. Okay maybe that's just me, but I've always liked it.
